From running around wineries and parks to walking on frozen lakes, from hiking together and looking for fish in the clear water of Banff’s rivers and lakes, these two were always together during our trip. From the moment dad got to my aunt’s place in Vancouver, Adler recognized him, ran up to him and talked to him right away. It was precious. We just got back from a 7-day trip around British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. During our trip, my dad made it a point to spend as much time as he can with Adler. Seeing them together reminded me of my relationship with my lolo. I was his shadow, always watching what he's doing. At one point, I even watched baseball with him...but that one was too boring for me that I ended up playing instead.

My dad missed out on a lot when my sisters and I were growing up because he was working and living abroad so I can only imagine how full his heart is when he is with his grandchildren.
